PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK DITINJAU DARI RELIGIUSITAS SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 10 BOGOR
Abstract
In human life must have a variety of habits. There are those who tend to want to get the job done quickly and those who like to delay doing their work. The procrastination in the language of psychology is "procrastination" and the perpetrator is referred to as "procrastinator". This phenomenon of procrastination is at risk of harming students in their lives, both academic and non-academic. Procrastination among students there are several types of procrastination as said by experts such as writing tasks, reading, attending meetings, and others. This has become a habit repeated by procrastinators among students. This study aims to find out the relationship between student religiosity and academic procrastination in the 10th high school in Bogor. Data collection using a Likert Scale, is to measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of a person or group of people about social phenomena. The sampling method used in this study was Simlpe Random Sampling using 91 respondents. Data collection is carried out using two scales, namely student religiosity scale and academic procrastination scale. To find out the relationship between students' religiosity and academic procrastination using product moment correlation. The result of the correlation coefficient between two variables is ryx = 0.466 p = 0.207. So it can be concluded that based on data analysis taken from this study there is a significant relationship between students' religiosity and academic procrastination at Bogor 10 High School.
