Abstract

Difference in the life of a person or group by another person or group in fact is the laws (rules of Allah) that is certain. Mutual aid and synergy will give birth to strength, and bring the gift of God Almighty. Zakat is to improve the welfare of the poor as the main mustahiq. Zakat can solve the problem of poverty if it is managed by a trusted and professional amil of zakat. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how Islam through zakat instruments allevate the poverty.
