TINGKAT BURNOUT AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN PSIKOLOGI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG

Abstract


Abstract

This research's aim is to investigate burnout syndrome in psychology students of Padang State University. Participants in this research consisting of 83 psychology students of Padang State University. Participats filled the questionnaire online through google form which were delivered to them via link on social media such as whatsapp, facebook, and discord. The Result of statistical analysis shows that overall participants (81.9%) have middle level of academic burnout. Overall participants, 45.8% experienced emotional exhaustion, 34.9% experienced depersonalization, and 62.7% experienced decreased efficacy of academic achivement. This result indicates that psychology students in Padang State University have middle level of academic burnout. More detailed informations have been discussed later in the article.

 

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana tingkat burnout akademik pada mahasiswa jurusan psikologi di Universitas Negeri Padang. Partisipan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 83 orang mahasiswa jurusan psikologi Universitas Negeri Padang. Partisipan mengisi kuisioner secara online melalui google form yang dibagikan melalui link pada media sosial seperti whatsapp, facebook, dan discord. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pada keseluruhan partisipan (81.9%) memiliki tingkat burnout akademik pada kategori sedang.  Dari keseluruhan partisipan sebanyak 45.8% mengalami kelelahan emosional, 34.9% mengalami depersonalisasi, dan 62.7% mengalami penurunan efikasi pencapaian akademik. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa psikologi di Universtas Negeri Padang memiliki tingkat burnout akademik pada kategori sedang. Untuk hasil lebih lengkapnya telah didiskusikan pada bagian hasil pembahasan.
